Sex in the City

Just got back from seeing Sex in the City the movie . . . it was okay, the beginning was good, but then it seemed to drag from there. It really just made me miss my friends and a good girls night out (Jen, Allison and Kendel)! Robert went with me, it was kind of a last hurrah before he starts work in Houston on Monday.

Z and M stayed with there Honey and Papa for an afternoon of kayaking and swimming. Baby S got see a rated R movie at a month old, something that I would have never thought of when I only had two children. They had a great time with Honey and Papa.

Z is excited about summer and going to some different camps, he just does not understand why we cannot go to Houston now with Dad. M is in to everything that Z is into, because as we all know she thinks that she is also 4. They are excited for the return of Jill! I think that Jill is equally ready to see them. Baby S is starting to stay awake longer and even smile a little. She still looks a lot like Z.

I am still on the fence if three children is harder than two, there are definitely moments. I just think I need to get a better plan on how to handle them all and there activities. Next week well definitely be the test. Stay tuned.

This and That

The Z Man finished the 4 year old class yesterday and is ready to move on to Kindergarten. I am not so sure that Mom is ready for that. It was a splash party and the children are also cute. I love Z's teacher, we will truly miss her. I am seriously contemplating staying here with the kids. It will be hard, but in the long run I cannot decide which would be better!

Allison's big A has some no competition for marrying Z. Apparently there are two girls that are smitten with him. In fact the talk about it, too cute! Zackery apparently told one of the little girls that he would not marry her unless she gave him the jewel so that he could give it to his sister. She did give him the jewel.

M and I are at home with baby S, Z and his Dad went to the movies with Robert's friend Gilbert.

It is so hot outside, I am actually ready for it to cool off. I am going to do some research for a girl trip to Galveston, possibly. We really want to take the older kids to Schliterbahn, I think more for us than them.

Oh my, So Much News

It has been a while since I have had a chance to sit and write, so prepare yourselves this is a long one . . .

Baby S went to the doctor for what should have been here two week appointment, but we did not make until almost three weeks. She weighed in a 8 lbs 1 oz, that was a good weight gain, so we were happy. We have to watch her belly button, it sticks out pretty far and they are concerned that she may have a hernia. So we will wait and see. I cannot even believe it, but she is a month old today, I do not know where the time has gone. I will post some pictures soon.

Robert graduated on May 9 from Texas A&M, whoop! We were all so excited my brother, sister in law, Mom, Dad, Robert's parents and the kids all attended the graduation. It was fun for the kids to see, but I do not think that they truly understand. The Z Man and the M Girl both enjoyed having their Aunt and Uncle in town, the love them so much! On Saturday, the girls went shopping for a bit and the boys went to kayak on the lake. Robert and Baby S stayed at home for a nap. That evening we had a family dinner at my parents house, played dominoes and ate Pecan Pie from Bill Miller, Robert's choice for his graduation. Thanks to the best sister in law for picking it up, I can always count on her and my brother! On Sunday, it was Mother's Day, we went to my parents for a late breakfast and to open presents for my Mom and Grandmother (Mom-Mom).

This past weekend we went to Austin for a graduation party hosted by Robert's family. This was also a chance for Robert's family to meet Baby S. The party was nice, but the trip was long. On Sunday, my Mom and I headed to the new outlet mall in Houston for some shopping, with out the older children, so nice. Mom got a great deal on a Coach purse, based on the lines you would have thought that they were giving them away for free. It was very reasonable. We each got a pair of sandals and a swimsuit for the S girl. We did not have that long, since Robert called in a panic that a realtor had locked them out of the house and I had the key in Houston, nice!

The time that Robert has off has been going quickly, he will start work in the next two weeks, June 2. No bites on the house, but lots of lookers. We went to Houston today to look at schools for the Z Man , I did not like the neighborhood that the first one was in. I am kind of back to the drawing board on this. We also drove around and looked for a place to live, I am kind of picky and would really like a brand new place in a neighborhood like we live in now. Basically, I would just like to move my house and neighborhood, minus one family to Houston, dreams. So, getting back on track we found nothing. While we were driving, Robert received a call from his new employer saying that they have changed his position, which is fine with Robert, just a bit concerning that he will have to move after 6 months, I do not want to be stuck in Houston by myself.

Okay, I have a couple of things that I better run and do, sign the Z Man up for some summer activities, e-mail my good friend Allison on the birth announcements and look for some possible schools for Zack in lovely Houston.

Baby S a week old.

The three Monkeys, M Girl, Z Man and Baby S.

Sometimes I think that I live with Monkeys

The days have been long and the nights longer trying to keep up with three young children. Robert has been unable to help much this week, since he is trying to get everything done to graduate, today should be it, hopefully! Thankfully I have my parents nearby to lend a hand, I honestly do not know what I would do with out them!

The M girl went with my Dad this afternoon, she loves her Papa and my Dad really loves her. The Z Man and I have been hanging out listening to music and napping kind of while I held Baby S. I just cannot get enough snuggle time.

Back to my title about that sometimes I feel like I live with Monkeys, did I mention that I am a bit insane and actually have my house up for sale as well? Well, Monday we had to be out for several hours while some people looked, we went to my Mom and Dad's, while we were there the M girl decided that she was a chicken, so she stood on my parents fireplace and made chicken sounds at the top of her lungs, nothing that we said could convince her to stop.

The Z Man was trying to tell us a story about school the next night at dinner, the M girl proceeded to say her ABC's at the top of her lungs so the Z Man could not tell his story. Z Man got very frustrated and told her to just say her ABC's to herself, all I could do was laugh as much as I knew that I should be disciplining her. Thankfully, Baby S slept through it all. I really do think that we may have gotten a child that has Robert's laid back personality, one can only hope!

So, after almost two weeks, what is it like to have three children, I really do not know I am just too tired! Hopefully, soon we can get on some type of schedule, that is if we know what we are doing, going, etc.
